Free Travel Insurance Offered with Cruise Reservations

Free Travel Insurance Offered with Cruise Reservations

Free Cruise Travel Insurance

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) June 30, 2011

Cruise Vacation Discount Company CruiseNow.com announced today a new unique opportunity for all cruise vacationers. Starting immediately every cruise reservation made through CruiseNow.com that is 5 nights or longer will receive free cruise travel insurance to protect the customer’s investment.

This offer is extremely unique inside the cruise industry. Travel or trip insurance is one of the most important pieces of the cruise reservation and can sometimes cost consumers hundreds of additional dollars. Executives at CruiseNow.com have decided to offer this piece of the reservation completely free of charge for their customers. The offer officially starts on July 1st, but a soft launch roll out of the program is currently online and available to cruise customers. In addition this promotion is offered to all new and existing customers of CruiseNow.com and is available to both online reservations and reservations made using a CruiseNow Personal Cruise Guide.

The savings for consumers is actually quite strong. For example a cruise vacation costing $ 2500 for a 60 year old passenger would cost that customer an additional $ 162 in insurance premium. That premium is paid for by CruiseNow.com when booked with the company. “We are very excited to offer this value to our customers. Cruise Insurance is something every passenger needs and our ability to offer it free of charge is a real benefit for our clients”, says John Keen CEO of CruiseNow.com.

The free cruise insurance promotion is offered on almost every cruise line represented by CruiseNow.com. The only stipulation is that the length of the cruise must be 5 nights or longer to qualify for the free trip insurance. Also the end date of the promotion has not yet been announced. Company officials are quiet about that, as they monitor its adoption and success. Early indication is that cruise passengers are taking notice and cruise reservations at CruiseNow.com are up dramatically during this soft launch.

About CruiseNow.com

Black Cruise Club Offers Upscale Black Cruises for Well-off Black Americans

Black Cruise Club Offers Upscale Black Cruises for Well-off Black Americans

Black Cruises by Black Cruise Club

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 04, 2011

Black Cruise Club, a travel agency organizing black cruises, is attracting the attention of black vacationers nationwide. The company’s website, BlackCruiseClub.com is promoting annual black cruises in which people from all over the country are invited to enjoy several days of fun and social interaction on the open seas. Destinations will include The Caribbean, as well as Europe and Alaska.

While Black Cruise Club is not the only company promoting black cruises, it is one of the only that also happens to be a professional cruise travel agency, so it knows the cruise business well. “An in-depth understanding of the cruise business is important for passengers who depend on us to handle the details of their cruise vacation”, says Aubrey Williams, founder of Black Cruise Club. While some other black cruises are organized by small, independent event promoters, Black Cruise Club has the backing of a large franchise possessing the knowledge and resources to be more effective in the cruise industry.

Williams started Black Cruise Club to provide a better option for black cruises to young black professionals, as well as the black middle-aged cruise market and black retirees. “While everyone is welcome on our black cruises, we don’t focus on the college party groups as some black cruise promoters do”, says Williams. A broader focus caters to a wider range of people on these cruises, so you’re likely to see young professionals, moms, dads, and grandparents, as well as singles and couples.

Another differentiating factor of Black Cruise Club is that it caters mostly to well-off black Americans. That being said, their annual group cruises lean toward the larger, nicer cruise ships as opposed to the older, smaller vessels. Black Cruise Club clients expect a more upscale experience, hence BCC’s selection of only balcony staterooms on some cruises, rather than the lower-cost inside cabins that don’t have balconies or windows. “Our clients can afford better choices, and that’s exactly what they expect”, says Williams.

While the name Black Cruise Club might imply that there’s something to join, it’s totally open to the public. At this time, formal membership is not a requirement, and association with the club is limited to “liking” its Facebook page – no cruise booking required.

About Black Cruise Club:

Black Cruise Club is a project of Cruise Holidays franchise owner Aubrey Williams. Black Cruise Club organizes annual black cruises on cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Celebrity, Princess, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Carnival Cruise Lines, and more.

P&O Cruises Anchors 20,000 Facebook Fans

P&O Cruises Anchors 20,000 Facebook Fans

P&O Cruise Holiday Fans

(PRWEB) October 15, 2010

P&O Cruises reached a new milestone yesterday, securing 20,000 fans on the popular social networking site Facebook.

The start of the annual cruise season on October 1 helped to bolster interest in cruising holidays and propel fans over the 20,000 mark, with P&O Cruises’ Facebook members growing by more than 1000 in the past fortnight.

Jenny Lourey, Senior Vice President of Carnival Australia, which operates P&O Cruises, said reaching 20,000 fans was a great achievement for the cruise line and its campaign to boost communication with its passengers and expand the cruising experience.

“P&O Cruises’ growing following on Facebook not only reflects the increasing popularity of cruising amongst Australians, it also demonstrates that P&O Cruises really is Australia’s favourite cruise line,” Ms Lourey said.

“It is great to see that our online community are enjoying what P&O Cruises has to offer, not only when they are at sea but also back on land.”

Since its creation in 2009, the P&O Cruises’ Facebook page has been home to thousands of cruise-related posts, discussion boards, photos and events, providing a great source of holiday advice and interaction for Australian cruise fanatics.

Ms Lourey said the cruise line had just introduced Facebook gatherings on upcoming cruises in response to growing enthusiasm from members to rally with other cruise lovers from the site whilst onboard.

The first Facebook roll call on Pacific Sun’s September 28 cruise from Newcastle was a resounding success and future celebrations have been planned on Pacific Jewel and Pacific Dawn cruises.

P&O Cruises’ Facebook page aims to bring those new to cruising and past passengers together to share tips, cruising stories, discover the latest cruise & holiday offers, and keep up-to-date on cruise news across the entire fleet.

To become a fan yourself visit P&O Cruises on Facebook. The website offers details on P&O holiday packages available and travel information on cruise holiday destinations.

Cruise Network.com Offers Special Gift to Bermuda Bound Royal Caribbean Cruise Passengers

Cruise Network.com Offers Special Gift to Bermuda Bound Royal Caribbean Cruise Passengers

(PRWEB) August 2, 2005

The Voyager of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships at sea today, was scheduled to depart Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, NJ on Sunday July 24 for a 5-night Bermuda Cruise. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line was forced to alter the route of the Voyager at the last minute due to the pending threat of severe weather from tropical storm Franklin, which had been churning just off the southwestern coast of Bermuda for several days.

Royal Caribbean says that it had no choice but to modify the Voyager’s itinerary to ensure the safety of the more than 4,000 cruise passengers and crew that would be aboard the ship. The problem was, most passengers did not find out about the revised itinerary until they showed up at the pier in New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

Some passengers were so angry they refused to even board the ship, others reluctantly accepted the alternate canada cruise itinerary, and everyone was demanding answers from the powers that be at Royal Caribbean.

Michael Sheehan, a spokesman for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, released a statement stating that “Simple common sense dictates that you cannot sail a ship with over 3,000 guests into a known tropical storm, which may become a hurricane.” Sheehan also went on the say that Royal Caribbean is not obligated to and most likely won’t reimburse passengers any of their cruise fare.

As a result of this unfortunate occurrence, Cruise Network.com, a leading national provider of cruise vacations aboard some of the most magnificent cruise ships at sea today, has decided to offer a very special gift to all those Royal Caribbean passengers that were scheduled to be aboard the July 24 Voyager of the Seas Bermuda sailing.

Cruise Network has already sent all of their own clients that were aboard the Voyager a complimentary gift containing a generous contribution towards their next cruise vacation aboard any major cruise line. In addition, Cruise Network would also like to invite ALL other passengers who booked their cruise directly through Royal Caribbean, and were also unfortunate enough not to be able to make it to Bermuda, to contact a Cruise Network customer service representative immediately at 888-267-1232. Upon verification, these passengers will also receive a very special gift from Cruise Network.

“Cruise Network understands that events such as this are completely unpredictable,” said Cruise Network agency manager John Tulipano. “We also understand that Royal Caribbean was simply looking out for the safety of its passengers and crew, yet we don’t want a bad experience such as this to discourage people from cruising in general. A cruise vacation is one of the most spectacular vacation options available in the travel industry today, so we are offering these gifts not only as a way of saying thanks to our loyal clients, but to also encourage all those considering a cruise vacation to get out there and experience everything that cruising today has to offer!”

Cruise Network customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 888-267-1232.

Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas has been a regular visitor to Bermuda throughout this summer, and will resume its island itineraries from New Jersey on August 7.

A Small Ship Cruise: Uncommon Cruises Now Offers Alternative to Mainstream Cruising

A Small Ship Cruise: Uncommon Cruises Now Offers Alternative to Mainstream Cruising

Edgewood, WA (PRWEB) March 16, 2009

Many regular cruise passengers are becoming jaded with conventional cruises. They are now looking for an alternative, but don’t really know what other options are out there. And even if they did, there is no easy way to find out about the many different specialty cruises that are the perfect antidote to mainstream cruising. An exciting new trend, however, is underway.

Now consumers can discover just how convenient and helpful going to http://www.UncommonCruises.com can be when researching and planning a small ship cruise. “Absolutely everything is there in one spot,” says Patty Tanner of Vancouver, Canada. “My husband and I wouldn’t be caught dead on one of those big-box cruises. We much prefer going to out-of-the way destinations and we enjoy it more with a smaller group of fellow travelers.”

The Tanners recently returned from a safari to Kenya and are now looking at exploring Antarctica. “I had no idea there would be so many choices for cruises to Antarctica,” adds Mike Tanner. “We never knew this, but we discovered that you can visit Antarctica from either Australia or from Chile. And we can have the option of a tall ship, an ice breaker or a small ship cruise. We had no clue until we checked out this website.” “And their cruise advisors are so knowledgeable,” interjects Patty. “It’s such a relief talking to someone who has first-hand knowledge on the destination and the cruise you intend taking.”

Even the specialty cruise lines themselves find the website appealing. Profiles of these small ship cruise lines are as detailed as those found in their own corporate brochures. Star Clippers is one of them. One of almost 70 niche cruise companies found on the Uncommon Cruises website, they offer guests a tall-ship sailing experience on clipper ships that accommodate between 170 and 225 passengers. According to Dan Pedelaborde, Director of Incentives & National Accounts, West, for the cruise line, “This website is beautiful, and the Star Clippers content wonderfully presented.”

Towards the end of 2009, mainstream cruise line Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Oasis of the Seas, will be launched. It will be one of the largest cruise ships ever built. There will be 16 decks and accommodate 5,400 passengers. “In effect, this vessel is the size of a small town,” says James Felton, Founder of Uncommon Cruises. His company is a travel center that focuses exclusively on specialty cruises, the opposite end of the spectrum to big-box ships like Oasis of the Seas.

In a press release issued last November, RCCL announced that their new vessel will have seven distinct neighborhoods. “Comparing a ship this size to a town isn’t that far-fetched,” observes Felton. “I suppose building one huge vessel is cheaper than seven small ones,” he added with an amused smile.

“We recognize our niche market is much smaller than the mainstream cruise marketplace. But it’s the encyclopedic scope of our website, our Advisors’ insider knowledge, and our vibrant online community that makes us successful,” says Felton. “Don’t get me wrong,” he adds, “I love any kind of cruise. But it’s the small ship cruise that gives me the most rewarding experience.” Judging by the variety of specialty cruises on this website, there certainly seems to be enough ‘uncommon’ cruise experiences from which to choose.
